Urban Angels

The Urban Angel body of work

To me urban angels represent how angels walk among us.  As simple as a person’s gesture or something that catches my attention out of the corner of my eye…on reflection, these crossings may have saved me from immediate harm, guide me, or fill me with inspiration.  In this body of work I intend to explore these elements and encounters in my life.

In this body of work I have found the narrative of a transient urban angel on a journey has a profound effect on the space that it becomes part of. I find the effect fascinating – creating a story for the urban angel on its expedition, seeing it interact in different locations and with different people. I will continue to explore the phenomena in this body of work.
