Relief work

This body of work in essence represents the difference between the repetition, uniform conformity of life and the idea of the ‘odd one out’ the fraction of difference can appear small or huge.   It enables me to use the format and size of the relief and experiment with the embellishment of the individual.

I have found in the development its similarity to a building block.  It can be displayed on its own or built together in any multiple and design and can be changed allowing it to evolve, change and build over time.  My intention is to continue making reliefs of a given dimension to enable an individual to build their own collection.
